South indian Gujiya Vada

Grind chana dal into fine paste. Now take 1 tablespoon of oil.

Put curry leaves, hing, mustard seeds and green chilli. Make tadka.

Put this tadka into the chana dal paste, add salt to taste and green chilli into the dal paste.

For stuffing, mix dry fruits with chopped coriander, green chilli, dessicated coconut, chat masala and salt to taste.

Now take a soft cotton cloth, pat the dal paste and put the stuffing.

Fold the dal paste on cloth, fold the cloth in such a way that stuffed dal takes the shape of gujiya.

Make such 5 to 6 gujiya Vada and deep fry on a slow medium flame.

When light golden brown, take out from flame and serve with chutney or dip.
