Coconut Burfi is a traditional Maharashtrian recipe. It is generally made on narali pournima or raksha bandhan in Maharashtra. Try this delicious burfi at home and drop a comment for me.

Heat up ghee in a pan on medium heat.

Add chopped cashew and almonds.

Add coconut and mix well. Fry the coconut on medium heat for about 4-5 minutes.

Add jaggery and mix well.

Add milk and mix well.

Add cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and pinch of salt.Mix well.

Cook the mixture on medium heat for about 8-10 minutes until it comes together.

Grease a pot/plate well with ghee.

Transfer the mixture into the plate and spread it.

Garnish with some pistachios & Cut the vadi.

Let the mixture set for about 7-8 hours.
