Beans thoran/beans stir fry is simple, nutritious dish prepared during onam festival .

Wash beans remove side strings and chop them.

Heat oil adds mustard seeds, jeera urad dal, red chilli pieces, and curry leaves, and saute for a while add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, thing, and beans mix it well cover it with a lid and cook for a few minutes.

Sprinkle some water if it's dry add salt, jaggery and give it a mixed cover and cook till soft add sambar powder, coriander leaves, and coconut mix it.

Serve with rice and roti/chapati.
