Cooking Instructions

Wash and soak rice for half an hour, then drain rice.

In a pan, keep milk for boiling

In another heavy bottom pan, heat ghee, add nuts and slices of dry coconut, fry for half a minute and remove in a bowl.

In the same pan, add soaked and drained rice and fry for a minute.

Add boiled milk into rice, cook it for 15 min on low flame.

Add sugar, nuts mix and cook it again for 5 minutes on low flame.

Add cardamom powder and saffron strands.

Thick and creamy Kheer is ready. Put it in a serving bowl, garnish with pistachios and serve.

Serve it hot or cold as you desire.
