In mixing bowl add both flours, ghee, sugar syrup. Mix well and bind into stiff dough. (Dough will be little sticky..if needed add more flour or sugar powder). I have used leftover sugar syrup from saffron jalebi.

Knead again and divide into 4 equal portions flattened balls. Place one flattened balls on butter paper.Roll into thick round roti. Cut into small square pieces as shown.

Heat oil for frying. Gently drop sweet dough pieces in hot oil. Deep fry shakarpare in batches on low flame till crispy golden brown. Similarly prepare with remaining dough balls.

Cool and store in Airtight container.
(Note shakarpare will be little soft when hot.. but as they cool down will be crispy). - 5
Serve/ Relish Delicious Shakarpare with hot tea or coffee at tea time.
