6 slicessandwich bread (I used whole wheat)
1large egg
2 cupsshredded Gouda cheese (about 200 grams)

Flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin.

Brush the edges with beaten egg, add the filling, and fold the bread over.

Cut with a glass and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.

Brush with melted butter.

Air fry for 5 minutes at 400°F (200°C).

That’s it! I served mine with chipotle sauce.

Don’t waste the bread scraps! Cut them into cubes, toss with butter and garlic, sprinkle with cheese, and air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes or until golden. Now you have a tasty snack!
