Tomato goujon with a mozzarella and kiwi salad
A lovely little starter dish that is fresh and so tasty
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Drain the tomatoes, don’t throw away the juice, you can add it to sauces etc
Cut lengthways, you will probably get about three strips out of each tomato.
Then place them on some absorbent kitchen paper and gently press down with another piece of paper to get rid of the excess moisture. - 2
Heat up enough oil in a fryer, then dip each goujon in the flour, egg and breadcrumbs and gently fry in batches but do not overcrowd them.
Drain on some kitchen paper and serve with the kiwi and mozzarella salad.

I've seen many egg/Avocado salad combos and have tried a couple. They were good but a little bland. I added a smoky cumin(I love cumin!!) and a little cayenne for kick! Its so good!! Feel free to double, triple whatever...this was an experiment so I only used two eggs. Bridget -

Tasty Thai Tuna Salad Tasty Thai Tuna Salad
I usually have tuna salad ready for my week for a quick snack on crackers or a sandwich for lunch. But I was getting a little tired of the same old tuna salad with mayo, etc. I thought, I make a really good Asian Cucumber Salad...what if I combined the two!?! So, after adjusting everything to include the tuna and not overpower that flavor, I think this works really nicely and is a refreshing change of pace. Boca de Fogo -

Ramen Salad with Sesame Dressing at Home Ramen Salad with Sesame Dressing at Home
This dish was born in Hokkaido. You don't see it as much at restaurants anymore... but I thought it should be easy to make at home. After some research, I came up with an easy sesame dressing! This is a delicious dish on its own, and looks healthy too. Why not make it for your kids, or for a potluck party? If you think the dressing is too sweet, use less sugar. You can make a lot of this salad and store it for later, but it's easy so you can make it as you need it. Serving individual portions makes it easier to eat. I recommend this for lunch. If you add spice with doubanjiang or yangnyumjang, you can quickly transform it into a spice-touced dish.
