Heat garlic minced in a medium-high heat pan, when aroma add crumble lamb mince in and brown, tipping off any excess fat, set aside.

Use the same pan, put in the onion diced stirred until soft, add carrots and soften it, added a little water if needed to help soften the vegs

Add in lamb minced back to the pan, add Worcestershire sauce, dried herbs and gravy granules and stir well, salt and pepper to taste then fry for a few mins.

Pour over half of stock and bring it to a simmer, when the gravy thicken add the less of stock, simmer for 20 minutes, add frozen peas at the last few minutes. Turned of the heat.

Meanwhile, boil the potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes or until they soften, drain then mash them with butter and milk, and add some more milk if needed.

Put the mince into an oven-proof dish, discard the bay leaves, top with mashed potato and ruffle with a fork.

Bake in 190C/ 180C fan oven for 20-25 minutes or when the mince bubbling to the edges then put on grill for 5-10 minutes or until it has lovely golden grilled colour on the top edges.

Serve with bread and any vegetables you prefer.
