Firstly, assemble all the required ingredients. (Remove the flesh of the custard apple and press it with a fork to separate the seeds from the flesh. Pick out all the seeds and mash the flesh with a fork to make it smoother. This custard apple had very few seeds so I added it with less mashing)

In a nonstick pan add ghee and allow it to melt. Add the sooji and roast it for about 5-6 minutes on low-medium flame.

After it is well roasted, add water and milk and mix it well.

Cover and cook for about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes you will see that the sooji has cooked well.

Now add sugar and mix it well.

Add the custard apple flesh/pulp and mix it well. Cook it for 15-20 minutes.

Add the cardamom powder and the chopped almonds, cashewnuts, golden raisins and cranberries which were slightly roasted in little ghee. Mix it well.

Transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish it with roasted almonds, cashewnuts, golden raisins, cranberries, and a few saffron strands.
