Steps
- 1
Marinate the beef with sesame oil, oyster sauce, onion, and garlic.
- 2
Prepare the vegetables: julienne the carrots, slice the bok choy at an angle.
- 3
Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch each vegetable separately. Sauté the mushrooms to bring out their aroma, then set each vegetable aside on a plate.
- 4
Using the same pan from the mushrooms, stir-fry the beef. Fry the eggs sunny side up with runny yolks.
- 5
Make the sauce: Mix 2 tablespoons of gochujang, add sugar or honey, soy sauce, and season to taste. You can also use pre-made bibimbap sauce. Add toasted sesame seeds for extra flavor and mix well until combined.
- 6
Spread the rice evenly in a bowl and arrange the vegetables and beef on top in sections. Place the egg on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds and crushed roasted seaweed.
- 7
Serve with kimchi and grilled meat if desired. Mixing the runny egg with the sauce makes it extra delicious. Enjoy!
