Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Mix all burger ingredients except cheeses in a large bowl. Mix the 2 cheeses in a separate bowl. Set meat and cheese aside for a few minutes.

  2. 2

Place onions and a little oil in a large frying pan. Saute on medium high heat until onions start to caramelize. Add garlic and brown sugar and Saute 3 more minutes. Remove from heat. Set aside.

  3. 3

Separate beef and cheese into 4 equal parts. Squish the cheese into 4 tight balls

  4. 4

Seperate beef into 4 equal parts. Make a large patty. Place ball of cheese in center. Wrap beef around cheese and seal the cheese inside the meatballs. Squish back down into patties, and use your fingers to seal the edges of the patties so the cheese doesn't escape during cooking.

  5. 5

Cook patties However you desire. Fry pan, grill, steam, However you like it. Fry eggs at the same time.

  6. 6

Toast buns and assemble burgers as desired with provided ingredients. The centers of the patty should be moist with gooey cheese.

  7. 7

Assemble and serve immediately. I served twice fried sweet potato fries as a side. Enjoy.

cooking is a passion of mine. I started when I was very young and I had to drag a milk crate around to see over the counter. taught by a career cook (my grandmother ). I have always tried to push the boundaries of conventional cooking. I prefer cooking wild game. when I can get my hands on it, but fish is more readily available for me. I raise and butcher most of the livestock that I use for my conventional recipes. I hope everyone can find a few recipes they like in my list.
