Today I made fresh green pigeon pea subji,.
Tasty and delicious. 😋
Steps
- 1
Peel,wash and drain the water from the pigeon peas.
Crushed ginger garlic chilli onion and tomato,add tomato puree and mix well. - 2
In a pressure cooker put oil and all tadka ingredients..
Then add a mixture of tomato and onion, and sauté until oil gets separated,
Now add salt, chilli, coriander and turmeric powder with little water sauté nicely.. - 3
Now add pigeon peas and remaining water,mix well.when water starts boiling,cover the lead and pressure cook for 3 whistles..
Subji is ready..
Transfer to the bowl.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with Chapati or rice..
