Limassol Dessert
A traditional dessert made in Limassol, Cyprus

In a pot;Milk, Sugar, Butter, Mastic gum is mixed.

When the milk starts to heat up, egg yolk or egg is added.

Add flour and starch, mixing little by little.

When it reaches the consistency, cream is added and left to cool.

First, the dough is prepared.

The cooked pudding is covered with stretch film.

Powdered sugar is sifted over the prepared desserts.

The dough is cut into strips.

Puff pastry cone is used.

The cones are oiled by hand and wrapped in puff pastry, baked in the oven and removed from the cone while hot.

When wrapping the dough around the cone, make sure that it overlaps the previous strip.

Using a squeeze bag or spoon, the pudding is cooked and filled into cooled cones.

Powdered sugar is sifted on top.
