After researching the types of spices used in specialty hamburger patties and creating my own mix for burger patties, I ended up with an incredibly juicy patty! The story of this recipe: I obtained the types of spices used in the limited-edition, delicious hamburgers from my favorite butcher. I created my own blend of these spices to make burger patties. They are incredibly tasty!

Ingredients

Makes 4 to 5 hamburgers
  1. 14 ozfresh ground beef
  2. 1/2large egg, beaten
  3. 1/2 cupfresh breadcrumbs
  4. 1/2 teaspoonstore-bought beef bouillon powder
  5. 1-1 1/2 tablespoonsmayonnaise
  6. 3 pinchespaprika powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoonroasted garlic
  8. 3 pinchesnutmeg
  9. 1 dashallspice
  10. Plenty of coarsely ground black pepper (adjust for children)
  11. 5 gramsstore-bought curry onion paste
  12. 1 teaspoonsugar
  13. 3-5 gramssalt (to taste)
  14. Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Mix the beaten egg with the fresh breadcrumbs and let them soak.

  2. 2

Add the soaked egg and breadcrumbs, all spices, and seasonings to the cold ground beef from the fridge. Mix until sticky.

  3. 3

If you prefer a meatier texture, stop mixing once it becomes sticky. For a fluffier, juicier patty, mix well (but don't overmix!).

  4. 4

Divide into your desired number of portions and shape them into patties slightly larger than your burger buns.

  5. 5

The ideal thickness for the meat is about 1 cm (about 0.4 inches). Make them slightly larger as the meat will shrink when cooked.

  6. 6

Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the patties on both sides.

  7. 7

For cheeseburgers, place cheese on top just before the patties are fully cooked, cover with a lid to finish.

  8. 8

Spread butter on lightly toasted buns, add lettuce and mayo...

  9. 9

Add tomato or avocado, then place the 100% beef patty...

  10. 10

Top with fresh onion, mustard, pickles, and ketchup...

  11. 11

And there you have it, a delicious burger! Whether you're with your boyfriend or not, the best way to enjoy it is to take a big bite without worrying about looking cool.

  12. 12

Enjoy an American diner vibe at home with your loved ones.

  13. 13

Great for lunch with kids too! Enjoy in various settings (^-^)

  14. 14

I have a separate recipe for hamburger buns. I hope you find it helpful.

  15. 15

Apology: I forgot to include '1 teaspoon sugar' in the ingredients. I corrected it today (March 24). I apologize for the oversight (> <)
