Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix the beaten egg with the fresh breadcrumbs and let them soak.
- 2
Add the soaked egg and breadcrumbs, all spices, and seasonings to the cold ground beef from the fridge. Mix until sticky.
- 3
If you prefer a meatier texture, stop mixing once it becomes sticky. For a fluffier, juicier patty, mix well (but don't overmix!).
- 4
Divide into your desired number of portions and shape them into patties slightly larger than your burger buns.
- 5
The ideal thickness for the meat is about 1 cm (about 0.4 inches). Make them slightly larger as the meat will shrink when cooked.
- 6
Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the patties on both sides.
- 7
For cheeseburgers, place cheese on top just before the patties are fully cooked, cover with a lid to finish.
- 8
Spread butter on lightly toasted buns, add lettuce and mayo...
- 9
Add tomato or avocado, then place the 100% beef patty...
- 10
Top with fresh onion, mustard, pickles, and ketchup...
- 11
And there you have it, a delicious burger! Whether you're with your boyfriend or not, the best way to enjoy it is to take a big bite without worrying about looking cool.
- 12
Enjoy an American diner vibe at home with your loved ones.
- 13
Great for lunch with kids too! Enjoy in various settings (^-^)

I have a separate recipe for hamburger buns. I hope you find it helpful.

Apology: I forgot to include '1 teaspoon sugar' in the ingredients. I corrected it today (March 24). I apologize for the oversight (> <)

Hamburger Patties, Better Than A Restaurant? Hamburger Patties, Better Than A Restaurant?
I perfected this recipe over many years for my daughter who didn't like hamburgers! Now, she says "it's better than restaurants". It's all down to the yakiniku sauce though.- I think the flavour of the meat is better if you don't knead the ground meat too much.- The flavour is brought together by the yakiniku sauce, but this burns easily so watch out!- You don't need to fry the onions!- In Step 2, an alternative is to put it all in a plastic bag to mix it up! That way you don't have to dirty your hands. Recipe by yamita cookpad.japan -

My Family's Quick and Plump Tofu Hamburger Patties My Family's Quick and Plump Tofu Hamburger Patties
I'm the type that makes hamburger patties without sautéing the onions. Hamburger with tofu is a go-to dish for our family. It is easier to shape the patties if you drain the firm tofu really well. The key to make the hamburger plump and soft is to continue to combine the mixture until it contains air and becomes white and sticky.Serve it with your favorite sauce, Japanese sauce, or make simmered hamburgers. Simple, Tender Everyday Hamburger Patties Simple, Tender Everyday Hamburger Patties
I just adjusted the flavor, little by little, to my family's preferences and this was what we ended up with! It's best to chill the meat, cooked onions, as well as the panko & milk mixture until they're cool enough to be mixed together. Prep up to Step 4 and when they are cool enough, mix in the egg and meat. It'll be cold, but you just have to bear it! It'll be worth it! For 4 servings. Recipe by michipapa cookpad.japan -

I had tofu and ground meat that were near their expiration dates... the only thing to do in that situation is to make tofu hamburgers!By draining the excess water in the tofu well, you can prevent the patties from getting too watery!
