Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbchicken breast
  • 1 cancream of chicken
  • 1 cancream of celery
  • 1 canchicken broth
  • 2 cupscarrots, sliced
  • 1 cupgreen onions, chopped
  • to tasteGarlic salt, pepper
  • Bisquick biscuit mix

Steps

    Mix all three cans in crockpot, add ~1 can worth of water. Place chicken in mix and heat on high. Depending on your crock pot and the thickness of your chicken, this could take anywhere between 2.5 and 5 hours. Add seasonings at this time.

    Make bisquick biscuits according to instructions on box. I also added some garlic salt to the mix for taste. Set aside for now.

    Chop carrots and green onions to your liking. I bought a bag of chip style carrot slices, and cut them in halves or thirds depending on size. Add to crockpot after about 3 hours cooking, when chicken is almost completely cooked. Break up the chicken breast into bits.

    Add biscuit dough on top and continue to cook for about 45 more minutes.

  5. 5

    Note: you will need to adjust recipe according to your tastes and your crockpot. Add various veggies, spices, etc to your liking.
