Lothani (sweet rice balls dipped in jaggery syrup)

Boil the jaggery syrup. Divide into two halves in two separate containers and set aside.

Scrap the dehusked coconut Add some jaggery syrup in a deep based pan om a low flame Add scrapped coconut and stir continuously till the mixture thickens. Remove from flame and allow to cool.

Knead together flour ricepowder and sugar into a dough.Make small balls of the dough Take each ball on the palm and make a little gap with finger.Put a bit of coconut filling in between. Roll the ball again in between two palms to make smooth riceballs.

Steam the riceballs in a steamer Allow to cool.

Soak the riceballs in the remaining jaggery syrup Allow to get cooled before serving
