Grilled Edamame

Edamame is the perfect snack to go with beer! Grilling it makes it even better with drinks.
Recipe background: I tried this at a restaurant and loved it, so I recreated it at home my own way.

Edamame is the perfect snack to go with beer! Grilling it makes it even better with drinks.
Recipe background: I tried this at a restaurant and loved it, so I recreated it at home my own way.
Steps

Thaw the frozen edamame. Peel and crush or finely chop the garlic.

Add the olive oil and garlic to a skillet. Sauté over low heat until fragrant.

Once fragrant, add the edamame and cook over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Then increase to high heat and cook until the pods are slightly charred.

When the pods are nicely charred, sprinkle generously with salt and serve!
