Ingredients

  1. 3 poundsground beef
  2. 46 ouncestomato juice
  3. 10 ouncestomato puree
  4. 1 candiced tomatoes
  5. 15 ouncecan red kidney beans (drained)
  6. canPinto beans
  7. 1/2 cupschopped onion
  8. 1/2 cupsdiced green bell pepper
  9. 1/2 cupsdiced celery
  10. 1/4 cupchili powder
  11. 1 tspground cumin
  12. 1 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  13. 1 tspsalt
  14. 1/2 tspground black pepper
  15. 1/2 tspdried whole oregano
  16. 1/2 tspsugar
  17. 1/8 tspcayenne pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Brown beef in a large skillet and drain fat

    Dice onion, bell pepper, and celery.

    Measure spices (I find it easier this way)

    Add it all ingredients to a 6 quart pot and simmer for 1-1 1/2 hour
