Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add oil to a frying pan and lay down the rice paper as is. *Do not turn on the heat yet*
- 2
Crack the egg and spread it using the corner of a spatula, breaking the yolk as you go.
- 3
Add cabbage and then cheese on top.
- 4
Arrange the meat slices.
- 5
Cover with another rice paper, pressing it to adhere to the ingredients. Cover with a lid and *turn on the heat now*. Wait for 3 minutes on medium heat.
- 6
Flip it over with a spatula. Be careful when flipping, as too much cabbage might spill out.
- 7
Cover again and cook for about 3 more minutes until done.
- 8
Top with sauce, mayonnaise, aonori, and bonito flakes, and it's ready to serve♪
- 9
Fold in half from step ③ and finish cooking. This method was easier. (^_^) Sorry, no meat, finished with one rice paper.

Onion Okonomiyaki Onion Okonomiyaki
An okonomiyaki fan taught me this recipe. If you use onions, Awaji Island or Hokkaido onions are great. Crispy and sweetly spicy okonomiyaki sauce is also a good match. Great while drinking a beer or Highball.- The amount of water differs from the instructions on the okonomiyaki flour package, but the onions will release water, so there's enough!- You can add a second egg to the batter if you wish.
