Ingredients

  1. Store-bought puff pastry
  2. Canned cream or mascarpone cheese
  3. Mozzarella cheese
  4. Simple syrup for desserts
  5. Ground pistachios for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the puff pastry into squares.

  2. 2

    Place a spoonful of cream and a little mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.

  3. 3

    Fold each square into a triangle and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4

    Repeat with all the squares, then brush the tops with melted butter or milk. Bake at 350°F (180°C) with both the top and bottom heat on, so the pastry puffs up well.

  5. 5

    Once the tops are golden brown, remove from the oven, drizzle with simple syrup, and garnish with ground pistachios.
