Cooking Instructions

Heat the Pan, Pour the ghee, add cloves, Fennel seeds and fry it.

Keep aside that mixture and grind it coarse consistency.

Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan, add red chilli, Bengal gram (kadalai Paruppu), urad Dal, cumin seeds, sauté it.

Now set aside to cool & grind it coarse consistency.

To the Same pan, add oil, garlic cloves, small onions (shallots), tomatoes, sauté it.

Now Grind with the previous mixture (red chilli, urad dal mixture), then add tamarind, salt.

Blend into a smooth paste.
Then, finally add (fennel seeds, cloves) mixture & grind it.

To temper, add oil, mustard seeds, when it splutters add curry leaves.

Pour this temper on tomato masala chutney.

Finally, Tomato Masala Chutney is ready to serve.
