Melt the butter in a skillet. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle, then add the chopped ginger and green chili. Sauté until fragrant.

Add the green peas and salt. Cover and cook for 2 minutes. Mash the paneer and add it to the pan. Add black pepper and mix well.

Add chopped cilantro and chaat masala. Your tasty green peas and paneer bhurji is ready to serve.
