Methi Dhebra

Dhebra is the perfect snack or dish to enjoy with tea. They are flatbreads made with combination of flours, fenugreek leaves & some other spices.
There are so many ways you can serve these either with yogurt, cilantro chutney, chundo a type of pickle made with unripe mango and its sweet and sour in taste and a side of tea.

Steps

Firstly, wash fenugreek leaves and chop it.

In a mixing plate add wheat flour and pearl millet flour. Mix both very well.

Now add washed and chopped fenugreek leaves.

Add all spices mentioned above with salt, powdered sugar and oil. Mix well.

Now add curd and make smooth dough. Add water if needed.

Make medium sized balls from the dough.

Roll with a rolling pin while rolling dust some flour.
Roll into medium sized dhebra. - 8
Place the rolled dhebra on a hot tawa. Keep the flame to medium-high or high.

Spread some ghee/oil on both sides and also press the edges of the dhebra with a spatula so they are cooked evenly from all sides.

Once the dhebra are roasted and cooked well, remove dhebra Similarly prepare the remaining dhebra.

Enjoy with curd, chutney or pickles.
