Carrot Paratha
Homemade simple and tasty carrot parathas

To begin makig the carrot paratha. First Wash carrot twice. Once it is done then peel it and grate the carrot. Once it done transfer to a plate.

In a large bowl add 1 cup whole wheat flour, salt, black pepper powder, haldi powder, red chilli powder, ajwain then mix it well then add enough water and knead paratha dough fr a couple of minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. Use the the fold press and knead motion to make the dough smooth.

Now add a tsp of oil to coat the paratha dough and knead little more.. You want a paratha dough that will be soft smooth and not sticky.Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Cover the dough allow the rest for 5 minutes.

Preheat a skillet on meduim heat and place the carrot paratha. Allow it to cook on meduim heat for about 30 seconds and flip over. Add this stage add a tsp of oil or ghee and spread it around. Flip again, so the oiled side can cook on the skillet. Spread a little more oil and keep pressing the parathas while on the skillet to cook the paratha evenly from inside out.

Do the flipping over a process a couple of tmes until both the sides get cooked, browned, crispy evenly. Make sure you cook on meduim heat it allows the carrot parathas to get crispy on the outside.

Once the carrot paratha is cooked transfer to a plate and serve.hot. Serve the carrot parathas along with homemade mango pickle or homemade curd for your breakfast
