Take all the ingredients for Moong Dal Halwa.

Now take a bowl and soak the moong dal for 5 mins and rinse the water and take it to the plate,

Now tap it with a towel and dry it, Now roast the moong dal and dry it, Now coarsely grind the moong dal,

Now, take a pan and add sugar and water to make sugar syrup, Now add saffron strands to it, and make sugar syrup, Now take a pan and add ghee to it,

Now fry the almonds in a ghee and take it aside, Now take a ghee, add sooji, and add besan to it and roast it for 2 -3 mins,

Now add coarsely grinded moong dal to to it and roast till the colour changes, Now add sugar syrup to it and cook it for 15 mins till syrup gets soaked,

Now syrup gets soaked, and ghee starts releasing, Now our moong dal halwa is ready to serve, take it to the serving bowl and garnish it with fried almonds and serve hot.
