Thinly slice lemons and discard seeds.

Arrange lemon slices over sugar.

Grind almonds into a fine powder.

Mix soda in it.

In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and honey.

Stir in almond mixture.

Beat egg whites till doubled in volume.

Fold whites in almond mixture.

Pour batter in the pan.
