Ingredients

  1. 6 ozBeef Sirloin Steak (thinly sliced)
  2. 1/2 tbspSoy Sauce
  3. 1/2 tbspOyster Sauce
  4. 1/2 tbspCooking Wine (optional)
  5. 1 tspCornstarch
  6. 2 tbspCooking Oil (divided)
  7. 1/2Onion (rolling cut)
  8. 3Red Mini Peppers (hand-torn)
  9. 2Orange or Yellow Mini Peppers (hand-torn)
  10. 1Green Bell Pepper (hand-torn)
  11. 4Garlic Cloves (minced)
  12. For the Sauce:
  13. 1/2 CupBeef Broth
  14. 1 tbspSoy Sauce
  15. 2 tbspDark Soy Sauce
  16. 1 tbspOyster Sauce
  17. 1 tspBlack Pepper
  18. 1 tspCornstarch Mixed with 2 tbsp Water
  19. 1 tbspButter (optional)

Steps

    Marinate the Beef:

    • Mix the beef with 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce, cooking wine (if using), 1 teaspoon cornstarch, and coat with 1 tablespoon cooking oil. Let marinate for 15 minutes.

    Make the Sauce:

    • Combine beef broth, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and set aside.

    Cook the Beef:

    • Heat 1 tablespoon cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the beef for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

    Stir-Fry Vegetables:

    • In the same skillet, add the rolling cut onion, hand-torn peppers, and minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.

    Combine and Serve:

    • Pour the sauce into the skillet and simmer for 1-2 minutes until thickened. Add butter if desired. Return the beef to the skillet, mix with the sauce, and heat through. Serve over rice or noodles.
