Ingredients

  • 100 gramsPheni / thin Vermicelli
  • 1 litreMilk
  • 1 cupMilk
  • 3Cardamom
  • 2 tbspGhee
  • Dry fruits

Steps

  1. 1

    Roast Vermicelli in ghee and keep aside. In pan add milk and allow a boil. Then add cardamom and simmer for 6-7 minutes. Roast chopped dry fruits in Ghee and keep aside.

    Then add roasted vermicelli and keep stirring. Cook for 8 - 10 minutes, add sugar + dry fruits and stir well. Mixture thickens.

  3. 3

    Cook further for 3-4 minutes as sugar release water. Kheer is done.

    Allow to cool, serve after 2-3 hours.
    Garnish with dry fruits and serve.
