Did not follow a Recipe - had Curry Powder in the kitchen cupboard - it was only One week past it's Used by Date . I used a lot of Curry Powder - not something I usually do and so the Recipe is a bit of a experiment
Steps
- 1
Fill a large metal Mixing Bowl with lots of cold tap water and then place the 4 Green Chillies in the water and then snip off the ends with a pair of Nail Scissors and then use the Scissors too cut through their middle's and then help with the cold water - can rub the Chilli Seeds out. Add all the deseeded Chillies too your large Cooking Casserole Dish.
- 2
Use a metal teaspoon to scrape the skin off of the raw Gingers - do it over the large metal Mixing Bowl with the cold water and Chilli Seeds etc. - still in the bowl. Water wash the peeled raw Ginger pieces under the Cold water tap and then place in the Cooking Casserole Dish.
- 3
Place 4 tablespoons Olive Oil in the Cooking Casserole Dish as well and then add the 150g Mild Curry Powder - add 4 tablespoons of Olive Oil over the top (so that is 8 tbsp. Of Olive Oil - in all) and then add the 4 teaspoons of Sea Salt.
- 4
Peel the 3 large Brown Onions and then cold wash under the Cold water tap and then cut with a small sharp Kitchen knife into quarters and then also place them into the Cooking Casserole Dish. Shallow fry on the lowest hob heat for maybe as long as 30 minutes - maybe add a few drops of cold water. Eventually, add a Bulb of Garlic - takes time to peel about 10 garlic cloves and then add them to the pot.
- 5
Add the contents of 2 tin's of tomatoes and then add 600ml of Cold tap water - bring to the boil on the hob stove and then turn down to the lowest hob heat - place the metal Casserole Lid over the top and then cook gently on the hob stove for One hour and then add another 600ml of cold tap water and 100g of White Sugar and then cook for a further 30 minutes and then add a further 600ml of cold tap water and then cook with the Lid on for a further 30 minutes.
- 6
Allow to get cold within the Cooking Casserole Dish and then blitz it all in a Nutri Ninja Blender etc.
- 7
Serve with cooked chips.
