  • 2 cupswheat flour
  • 1/2 cupcoconut grated
  • 2 tspfennel seeds
  • 1 tspElaichi powder
  • 1/2 cupgrated jaggery
  • 3 tbsghee
  • 2 tbsfine suji
  • 4 tbsWater as required
  • 2 cupghee or oil

    Take all the ingredients in a bowl add liquid jaggery (melted in water) mix well.

    To the flour mix add little water and make a stiff dough.let the dough rest for at least 15 min.

    I have used the mould I have but it is usually done on a wooden mould called saancha.I have fried in ghee. It can be baked too.
