Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 10 1/2 ozground pork (300 grams)
  2. 1 handfulThai basil leaves
  3. 4-5fresh chilies
  4. 3-4 clovesgarlic
  5. 1/2 tablespoonfish sauce (1 1/2 teaspoons / about 7 ml)
  6. 1 tablespoonoyster sauce (about 15 ml)
  7. 1/2 tablespoonlight soy sauce (1 1/2 teaspoons / about 7 ml)
  8. 1/2 tablespoonsugar (1 1/2 teaspoons / about 7 grams)
  9. 1 tablespooncooking oil (about 15 ml)

  1. 1

    Roughly chop the chilies and garlic. Pick the basil leaves and wash them. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. 2

    When the skillet is hot, add the garlic and chilies. Stir-fry until fragrant, then add the ground pork. Break up the pork so it doesn't clump together.

  3. 3

    Season with oyster sauce, light soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Pour the fish sauce around the edge of the skillet for extra aroma.

  4. 4

    Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Once you're happy with the flavor, add the basil leaves, turn off the heat, and serve.
