Steps
- 1
Pour Jowar flour into Iron Kdhai (Cauldron) on medium flame and roast it for 5 minutes
- 2
Add Gud (Jaggery) Cubes and Start adding water in little increments and mixing it simultaneously until you pour all the water into cauldron. Make sure there are no lumps of unmixed jowar flour left, if you see some, crush & mix them with a steel ladle until you make a creamy texture
- 3
Add Ghee, mix well and let it boil for more 5 minutes on low flame (you can add more water before mixing for the last time, I personally do so)
- 4
Turn off the flame and your delicious sweet Jowar Halwa is ready to be served!
