Take Ragi Rava in kadhai and dry roast it.

In a sauce pan heat 2 cup of water and let it come to a good boil. Heat oil in the kadai and add some mustard seeds, urad dal, asafoetida. Add in curry leaves as well. Then add onions, green chilli, green peas and grated carrot, mix everything well. Cook for 1 min.

Add the boiled water in it. In that goes ragi rava and mix well. Now cover it and simmer it for 10 min.
Garnish with coriander leaves and grated coconut. - 4
Ragi Rava Upma ready to serve.
