This is an authentic dish from the state odisha. During festival called Raja people celebrate the occasion by making this pitha.
Steps

Wash, soak dal and rice separately

Soak for 6 hours grind separately. First dal then rice

Mix dal and rice paste

Properly add salt and allow for fermentation for 6 hours.

Add jaggery powder, sugar,cardamom powder into the batter. Mix it properly

Take ghee in a Kadai Add the whole batter and place some coconut slices. Keep one small glass of water in between the pitha cover the pitha
- 7
After 25 min gradually remove the glass and flip it,cook both sides. Cut once it gets cool.
