Arrenge all ingredients in one place. Heat butter in a pressure cooker add bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, saute few seconds then add chopped garlic and green chilies, saute 1 minute then add slices onion and fry them on low heat for about 2 minutes.

Now add pumpkin, carrots, tomato pieces, mix it properly and cook another 3-4 minutes. Now add 3 cups of water, fix the lid and allow to cook for 3 whistles.

Once cool down the pressure cooker, open the lid and remove bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom and sieve the mixture with a stainer and put into a grinder jar and blend it into a smooth paste.

Now add grounded smooth paste into the sieved remaining water, mix it and again boil it. Now add salt, black pepper powder and butter, cook another 2-3 minutes. Soup is ready.

Healthy Pumpkin Soup is ready. Garnish with pumpkin seeds and serve hot.
