This is an innovative twist to the evergreen street food of Mumbai that is widely popular in the whole Country. Though it's native to the State of Maharashtra, it is made and enjoyed in all parts of the Country. And we all love it. It's called Bhel Puri. This one is made with Sprouts. I have added lots of them in this amazing streetfood twist thereby called as Sprouted Bhel. And not only the Children, it's loved by all the age groups. And it's a really easy one that suits your needs. If making for kids, you can reduce the spice content and make it simple. And if it's being made for the adults, it can be relished according to your own personal preference of the spices being used. This is the most easiest and the loveliest snack that anyone could ever lay their hands upon. That's the beauty of this amazing streetfood. It's no wonder that it is loved by almost everyone.
With sprouts being added, it becomes even more healthier and wholesome. With freshly chopped Vegetables, a few spices and the Chutneys, this surely is one helluva lot healthy snack that can be enjoyed and relished by all. This innovative version is also an equally popular streetfood just like it's main counterpart - the Bhel Puri.
Happy Snacking with Zeen!

Steps
- 1
Roast both puffed rice and peanuts separately in a tablespoon or two of oil until crisp and done. Set aside to cool.
- 2
Add a pinch or two of the turmeric powder to the oil as well. However it's optional. You can add the puffed rice directly too. Assemble all the ingredients required.
- 3
Bring water to a rolling boil on a high heat. Add the sprouts with a little bit of salt. Boil for a good 4-5 minutes or until done. That's it. Maintain the crunch and do not boil the sprouts for a long time. Do not over do it. Otherwise the nutritious content might be rendered useless.
- 4
Next is to add all of the mentioned ingredients to a bowl. And then you just need to toss everything well. That's it.
- 5
Enjoy this beautiful looking street food of Mumbai with your loved ones and friends at tea-time.
