For a quick and easy meal, try hake fillets or another white fish with French fries. I don't think there's anyone who doesn't like this!

Peel and cut the potatoes. In a large skillet, add oil and heat it up. Once hot, add the potatoes and fry over medium-high heat.

Remove the potatoes and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Season the cleaned, boneless fish fillets with salt and white pepper.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt. If the eggs are small, you may need 3. Add 1 tablespoon of flour for each egg and mix until you have a smooth batter.

Dip the fillets one by one in the batter and fry over medium-low heat until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. It's best to cover the pan while frying so the fish cooks through. Serve with salad or steamed/stewed vegetables.
