Steps

Pulse mixed nuts in a food processor until coarsely chopped.

Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light.

Add egg and mix well.

Sift in flour and baking soda, mix until just combined.

Fold in chocolate chips and chopped nuts, use wooden spoon if you have. I bent my silicon spatula 🥲

Shape dough into a log for easy slicing.

Chill dough for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Slice dough and place on a baking sheet.

Bake at 175°C for 8 minutes 30 seconds, until edges are golden.

After baking let it cool down to room temperature, it will become crispy

I used roughly one tbsp of dough, I do recommend testing using a single cookie to make sure it will come out nicely in your oven as some oven might be hotter.

The shape and size of your cookie dough when bake will have different results. This is when i shaped it like a ball.

This is when it's thinly sliced 0.5cm~1cm flat.
Tips
Chilling the dough helps to enhance the flavors and makes it easier to slice.
