Steps

Wash the mutton pieces well and in a heavy bottomed Kadai heat mustard oil and ghee, add whole garam masala and stir for 1 min for aroma, add sliced onion and cook till translucent

Add mutton and cook till white in colour, set aside the mutton and add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt and bhuno until masalas coat the mutton well and oil surfaces

Make a powder of almonds, poppy seed and coconut slices

Add the coconut almond poppy seed powder, stir and add whisked yogurt and mix well.

Bhuno the mutton

Cook till oil surfaces and add water as per need, cover to cook

The mutton colour shall change

Plate and add chopped coriander leaves and barista - serve with Biryani as I did or Sheermal or Roomali Roti or Parathe
Tips
The coriander powder is the key to the success of this Qorma
Don’t add too much water when cooking the mutton but adequate to cook
