Ingredients

  • 1 tspGarlic , diced
  • 1 tspGinger , diced
  • 1Onion , diced
  • 2Tomato , chopped
  • 1chilly Green ,
  • 2Green capsicum , julienned
  • 2 - 3chilies Kashmiri red
  • 2 tspsCoriander seeds (Dhania),
  • ½ tspGaram masala powder
  • 1/4 cupcoriander leaves Fresh ,
  • 150 gmsPaneer , cubes
  • to tasteSalt ,
  • to tasteOil ,
  • 1/4 cupWater ,

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry roast the coriander seeds and red chillies. Grind to fine powder after it cools.

  2. 2

    In a small frying pan, crisp up the paneer cubes using 2 tbsp of oil and keep aside.

  3. 3

    In a kadai (frying pan), add some oil and sauté the ginger,garlic,green chilly and onions till golden brown.

  4. 4

    Add the chopped tomatoes and sauté till tomatoes become nice and soft.

  5. 5

    Add required amount of salt and add the ground up spice mix (coriander seeds and red chillies)

  6. 6

    Add a little water and sauté till the oil slowly separates from the mixture.

  7. 7

    Add the capsicum julienne and sauté for few minutes.

  8. 8

    Add the garam masala powder and add the fried paneer cubes and cook for a couple of minutes.

  9. 9

    Finally, add the coriander leaves and serve the dish with warm naans or rotis.
