Ingredients

  1. 2fish Surmai (king) big slices
  2. 1/4Coconut
  3. 1/4 bunchCorriander leaves
  4. 2Green Chillies
  5. 4Chillies Red
  6. 1Tomato
  7. 3 clovesGarlic
  8. 1 tspCumin
  9. 1/4 tspHaldi
  10. 3 tbspsoil
  11. 6Kokum
  12. Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the fish slices

  2. 2

    Grind all the ingredients with water into a smooth paste

  3. 3

    Heat 3 tbsp oil and add the ground masala.

  4. 4

    Fry until the masala is dry and oil appears at the edges

  5. 5

    Add water and bring to a boil. Add the correct amount of water. You cannot adjust the thickness of the gravy later because boiling the curry too long will overcook the fish.

    When the Water comes to a boil, add the Kokum, salt and the fish

  7. 7

    Lower the heat after the mix boils again and cook for 9 min. Serve with rice.
