Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgChicken -
  • 5Onions , chopped -
  • 2Capsicums , chopped -
  • 3Tomatoes , pureed -
  • 3 tablespoonsOil -
  • 2red chilli Dry -
  • 1 teaspoonCumin seeds -
  • 1 teaspoonGinger garlic paste -
  • as requiredSalt
  • 3/4 teaspoonGaram masala -
  • 1/4 teaspoonRed chilli powder -
  • 1/4 cupCream -

Steps

  1. 1

    Add oil in a karahi, fry capsicum and onions for 2 minutes till the aroma is released. Transfer it to a plate and keep it aside.

  2. 2

    To the same karahi, add the dry chili, cumin and fry. Add the fried onions and capsicums.

  3. 3

    Add the ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes off.

  4. 4

    Add the chicken pieces and fry for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Cover and cook it. Let it cook in its own moisture.

  6. 6

    Add garam masala and red chili powder. Mix and fry well for just 2 minutes. Add the tomato puree. Mix and cook till the gravy thickens.

  7. 7

    Add the cream to the gravy according to your desired consistency.
