  • Raw tilapia fish
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Unscale the fish then wash the gills thoroughly. Make sure the intestines are removed.

  2. 2

    Cut the body and sprinkle salt. Hang in a wire mesh for 20 minutes till all water is drained.

  3. 3

    Heat oil and deep fry the tilapia. Serve with Kachumbari
