Ingredients

  • Frosting
  • 1 cupWhipped Cream Cheese
  • 1 cupMascarpone Cheese
  • 1 tspVanilla Extract
  • 3/4 cupMaple Syrup
  • 5 tbspPowder Sugar
  • Cake
  • 2 1/2 cupAll-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tspBaking Powder
  • 1 tspBaking Soda
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1 cupSoftened Butter
  • 1/2 cupLight Brown Sugar
  • 2 largeEggs
  • 1 1/4 cupMaple Syrup
  • 2 tspVanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cupButtermilk

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    Cut bacon in small pieces and cook until crispy

  3. 3

    Sift together dry ingredients

  4. 4

    Cream together sugar and eggs until fluffy

  5. 5

    Mix together wet ingredients and add dry ingredients in thirds

  6. 6

    Stir in bacon

  7. 7

    Line cupcake tray with cupcake paper cups and fill 3/4 of the way

  8. 8

    Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

  9. 9

    Remove cupcakes from tray to cool

  10. 10

    Beat together all frosting ingredients until fluffy

  11. 11

    Refrigerate frosting for 20-30 minutes

  12. 12

    Once frosting is set, frost cupcakes
