Got a bread machine as a gift, had to figure out how to use it. This was my first bread machine recipe. 1 1/2 lb. loaf.

1 1/2 cupWater
1 1/2 tbspbutter or oil
1/3 cupHoney
1 1/2 tspsalt
3/4 cupoats - be generous
3 1/2 cupflour
1 1/2 tspyeast, heaping

add liquids and yeast to bread machine, then dry ingredients. Let it mix and rise, then form into loaf in greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 25-35 min. or bake in machine. I prefer to bake myself. I think the crust is better.
