Chicken in Lemon-Ginger Sauce

Ingredients

  1. chicken marinade
  2. 2boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into angled slices
  3. 1-2 tbspsesame oil
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 2 tspsoy sauce
  6. 1 tspfresh ground blackpepper
  7. deep fry
  8. 1egg
  9. 3/4 cupscorn flour
  10. stir fry
  11. 1garlic glove
  12. 1/2 tbspfresh ginger
  13. 1 tbsplemon zest
  14. 1 tsplemon juice
  15. Chooped onions
  16. Green bell pepper
  17. Red bell pepper
  18. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  19. 1 tspoyster sauce
  20. 2 tbspsweet chilli sauce
  21. (Or use 1 tbsp of chilli and 1 tbsp honey/sugar in place of it)
  22. Optional:1 tsp of balsamic vinegar

Cooking Instructions

    Marinade chicken with ingredients and leaven in the fridge for 15 mins to 24 hrs as desired.

    Beat one egg in a bowl, add marinated chicken and mix till egg is well combined.

    Flour the chicken with corn flour and deep fry at 375°F untill golden brown.

    In a stir fry pan fry onions, garlic and ginger until translucent.

  5. 5

    Add lemon zest, green and red capsicum. Toss well and add the chicken.

    In a separate bowl add 1/4 cups of water, sweet chilli sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce and balsamic vinegar and mix.

    Pour this mixure into the stir fry. Toss well to incorporate and mix one tsp of corn flour and water and add to stir fry thicken sauce.

    Add lemom juice and toss. Turn of the heat and sprinkle some green onions and mix in. Serve with Rice or noodles or just eat it like that. Yummy!
