Preheat oven to 400, chop bananas

Saute bananas, rum, and brown sugar on stovetop as preparing bananas foster. Bananas,brown sugar rum. Sauteed until sauce thickens, remove from heat.

Allow mixture to cool before transferring it into an already baked pie shell. Cover with caramel.

Cover crust edges with foil, and bake at 400 for 10 mins.

While waiting whip up heavy whipping cream. You may add sugar, but this is a very rich and dense pie, so if you add sugar to your cream, use the powdered sugar as recommended. I'd caution you to keep the desserts sweetness in mind before adding too much. You can always add later.
