Ingredients

10plum tomatoes cored
2small garlic cloves
1 tbspolive oil
1small white onion cut into wedges
2jalapeno peppers with stems cut off seeded if desired
1/2 tspsea salt
3 tbspminced fresh cilantro
1/2lime juiced
1/4 tsppepper
1/4 tspsugar

Steps

Cut a small slit in two tomatoes and insert a garlic clove into each slit

Place tomatoes, onion, olive oil, and jalapenos in slow cooker

Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 hours

Let cool and place in a blender or food processor and add rest of ingredients and process until smooth
