Ingredients

  • 1-add together-
  • 1 galloncucumbers, sliced
  • 8 smallonions, sliced
  • 2red bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/4 cupcanning or kosher salt
  • 1mix together-
  • 1 1/2 tsptumeric
  • 1/2 tspcloves
  • 2 tbspmustard seed
  • 2 tspcelery seed
  • 5 cupgranulated sugar
  • 5 cupwhite distilled vinegar

Steps

  1. 1

    Cover the sliced vegetables with ice for three hours, then drain.

  2. 2

    Add the mixed spices (turmeric through vinegar) to the drained cucumber mixture.

  3. 3

    Boil for five minutes and hot pack.
