Ingredients

  1. 1 packagesJeanie O Spicy Turkey Sausage Links or spicy italian sausage
  2. 2Red Bell Peppers, sliced
  3. 1/2small red onion sliced
  4. 2 cupbroccoli florets (optional)
  5. 2 tbspsesame oil (use a darkened one if you can)
  6. Easy Plum Sauce
  7. 1/2 cupchicken broth
  8. 1/2 cupsoy sauce (use a good soy for best results, no Kikoman)
  9. 4 tbspplum jam or preserves
  10. 1/2 tbspshredded ginger (ground will do also)
  11. 1 tbspchopped italian parsley
  12. 1/4 cupsliced green onion or scallions
  13. 1 clovegarlic, minced
  14. 2 TBSPrice flour

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Mix all plum sauce ingredients until well incorporated, set aside

  2. 2

    Cook sausage whole until browned, about 10-12 minutes

  3. 3

    Slice sausage into medallions, set aside, reserve juices. dont worry if slightly undercooked

  4. 4

    On med high heat saute veg in sesame oil about 5 minutes or until slightly tender... Start with your toughest veggies first

  5. 5

    Add sliced sausage and juices back to veg and saute until sausage is cooked through and vegetables are tender

  6. 6

    Add sauce mix to pan and bring to boil, stir frequently

  7. 7

    Reduce heat to simmer until sauce thickens

  8. 8

    Serve over warm Jasmine rice garnished with fresh sliced green onion or scallions
